Ward Serrill – Heart of the Game

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. This tone idicates that you are receiving an emergency news patch. This is not a test. I repeat this is not a test.

The world has changed and what was once true is no longer. The last newsletter I sent out is now riddled with inaccuracies and should be plowed under like the spinach it was printed on.

Ward Serrill, the filmmaker behind “Heart of the Game,â€? won’t be able to make it to Juneau until Friday. The result being that his reception has been rescheduled to Saturday at 6:00pm. Ward will be available to answer questions for the Friday and Saturday shows, but not the Thursday show. For more immediate and possibly accurate information please contact the Goldtown Nickelodeon.

The reviews for this film are glowing and I wouldn’t miss this for anything… unless I was in Washington visiting my sister… which I am. Blast!!!

Well I hope that all you lucky people in Juneau get a chance to meet Ward and hear about his experience. There’s a good chance this film will get nominated for an Academy Award and then you’ll get to sit around watching the show with your friends and say.. oh hey.. I met that guy when he came to town… wow… he’s sitting next to Gary Busy… I thought Gary Busy was dead.

Aaaaannnyways.. We’re hosting a reception at the Ruby Room and Ward will be available after the shows on Friday and Saturday for Q&A Sessions so make sure you go see the show while he’s in town!

Laters

I’m out of town for a bit but Aaron and Lou will be around the office if you get lonely or whatever. Maybe you could check in on them while I’m gone and make sure they’ve been watered.
