Big happenings down the hall at the Goldtown Nickelodeon…

Ward Serrill – Heart of the Game

Documentary filmmaker Ward Serrill will be in Juneau on September 21st and 22nd to present Heart of the Game, a film that captures the real life sports drama of the Roosevelt High School girls basketball team.

The reviews for this film are glowing and I wouldn’t miss this for anything… unless I was in Washington visiting my sister… which I am. Blast!!!

Well I hope that all you lucky people in Juneau get a chance to meet Ward and hear about his experience. There’s a good chance this film will get nominated for an Academy Award and then you’ll get to sit around watching the show with your friends and say.. oh hey.. I met that guy when he came to town… wow… he’s sitting next to Gary Busy… I thought Gary Busy was dead.

Aaaaannnyways.. We’re hosting a reception at the Ruby Room and Ward will be available after the shows on Friday and Saturday for Q&A Sessions so make sure you go see the show while he’s in town!

Thursday September 21st: 6:00 – 7:00
Reception @ The Ruby Room

Thursday September 21st: After the show
Extended Q&A session @ Goldtown

Friday September 22nd: After the show
20 minute Q&A @ Goldtown

For more details or show times contact the Gold Town Nickelodeon 586-2875

Laters

I’m out of town for a bit but Aaron and Lou will be around the office if you get lonely or whatever. Maybe you could check in on them while I’m gone and make sure they’ve been watered.
