Alaska Ocean Film Festival sold out Friday and Saturday night.

Ahoy there me maties! Sorry to report that if ye be lookin fer tickets to the Friday or Saturday night showin’ of the Alaska Ocean Film Festival – you’re sunk. Arrgh, but the ship hasn’t completely sailed, there be a show 6:00pm Sunday for all the salty souls who missed the boat. Drift on over to KTOO or Lucid Reverie to fish yerself up a ticket.

Best Festivals

There are a lot of people who ask about where to submit their films once they’ve done a JUMP Society show so I asked Warren Etheredge which film festivals he thought were prestigious for shorts and he sent me the following response:

Clermont-Ferrand is the best.

All the rest should be ranked in accordance with their feature
programming status, thus…

Toronto
Sundance
Cannes
Tribeca
SXSW
etc

Of course it can be difficult getting accepted to major festivals so here are some smaller steps towards eternal glory where JUMP Society Filmmakers Joel Bennett and Greg Cheney have already blazed a trail:
