Winter Festival at UAS

Tonight is the final screening of the JUMP Society Winter Film Festival. You can join us at 7:00pm in the UAS Egan Lecture Hall.

In other Juneau filmmaking news, the Juneau Empire featured two local filmmakers in yesterday’s paper. Brice Habeger, a frequent JUMP Society contributor will be screening his short film “Happy Anniversary,” before feature films at the Goldtown Nickelodeon this month. Avery Veliz, a talented Illustrator and Animator is having an exhibit at Zephyr as part of the First Friday art walk.

It’s exciting to see so many filmmakers in the news this month, keep up the good work!

JUMP Society Winter Film Festival

It’s time again for the JUMP Society Winter Film Festival!

Big venue change this year, we’ll be screening at the Goldtown Nickelodeon and UAS Egan Lecture Hall.

Admission is free but shows fill up fast and we recommend picking up a ticket to reserve your seat. Tickets are available at Lucid Reverie, downtown between Heritage Coffee and Commercial Signs and Printing in the Emporium Mall.

We will serve alcohol at the late shows and because of the venue change we have to limit those shows to audiences over 21 years of age.
