Anton Doiron, a local film maker and regular JUMP participant, has a nice new camera and is offering his filming services:

I’m raising money to finish my current movie Space Trucker Bruce so I offer my services for filming your summer JUMP festival entry.   I have a Blackmagic Cinema Camera that has similar dynamic range to film and can shoot in 2.5k RAW or 1080p Apple ProRes422 format.  You organize it and I will film it.  When filming is done I will put the files on an external hard drive or DVD for you to edit.  I can take the focus off of the filming part so you can just be creative.  Drop me an email at anton@spacepiratefilms.com

We are still accepting films and the deadline is Friday, January 18. You can turn them in at Alaska Robotics or Lucid Reverie. Check out the submission guidelines for more information, and make sure to include the submission form with your film.

It’s a short notice, but Cinevic is looking for short films under 20 minutes in duration from Yukon, Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon. Deadline for submission is Wednesday, February 29. See more info: Cinevic Call for Submissions.
