It’s time again for the JUMP Society Winter Film Festival!
Big venue change this year, we’ll be screening at the Goldtown Nickelodeon and UAS Egan Lecture Hall.
Admission is free but shows fill up fast and we recommend picking up a ticket to reserve your seat. Tickets are available at Lucid Reverie, downtown between Heritage Coffee and Commercial Signs and Printing in the Emporium Mall.
We will serve alcohol at the late shows and because of the venue change we have to limit those shows to audiences over 21 years of age.

CHUCK- appreciates the quieter moments of life, gets riled up about things he feels passionate about, smaller than Denny, makes alot more plans than he actually does anything

The Art of the Interview – Workshop
HOW TO GRILL A STAR or THE ART OF THE INTERVIEW…
We’ve all seen them, documentaries built on boring, lifeless interviews. We’ve all read them, profiles that don’t even hint at the motives of the person behind the story. Warren Etheredge has spent a career interviewing filmmakers, authors and ordinary people on screen, in print and in person and has an uncanny ability to bring out insights his subjects never imagined they’d share.
During this program Warren offers structures, tips and strategies to turn mundane questioning into the Art of interviewing. It is an art that Warren has honed in more than 1,000 professional interviews with such personalities as Amy Sedaris, Sir Salman Rushdie, Zack Braff, Michael Pollan and Naomi Watts. He is currently producing The Warren Report television series in which he conducts in depth interviews with filmmakers and experts on the issues brought up in their films. During this workshop you will not only learn the secrets of solid interviews but get to practice the craft yourself under Warren’s watchful eye.
JUMP Society organizers will be at UAS for media night this Thursday along with Andy Kline from KXLL and Cheryl Levitt Snyder from KTOO.
